About the Author
Wynter St. Vaughan

Wynter St. Vaughan writes with a pen in one hand and a cat toy in the other. As the author of Army of 29 Cats, she has turned her lifelong fascination with all things feline into a high-stakes, fur-flying adventure series. Wynter grew up surrounded by animals—dogs, birds, a particularly opinionated goat, and, of course, cats who believed themselves co-authors of her stories.
A passionate advocate for animal welfare, Wynter channels her time, energy, and a healthy portion of her book royalties into supporting shelters, rescue groups, and spay/neuter programs. When she’s not writing or volunteering, she can be found in the company of her own “editorial board” of rescue cats, who offer both inspiration and unsolicited plot advice.
Part humorist, part humanitarian, Wynter combines her sharp wit, deep animal knowledge, and boundless compassion to create stories that entertain, educate, and remind us that even the smallest paws can leave the biggest prints on our hearts.

"It’s like Watership Down meets Blade Runner, but covered in fur and way more sarcastic."
